Patio installation in Alton for a solid, level outdoor space. We dig out, lay a firm sub-base and set your slabs on a full mortar bed, with a slight fall so rain runs away.
More Information
A patio needs a strong base to stay level. We dig down, then lay and compact a layer of crushed stone, often called MOT Type 1. The slabs are set on a full bed of mortar, not just a few dabs, so there are no hollow spots for water to get under.
Prestige Landscapes has been building gardens around Alton for 20 years, and patio installation is one of the paving jobs we do. We lay patios for homes in Alton, Holybourne and Four Marks. Because we also do landscaping, we can turf around a new patio or add steps, edging and planting at the same time.

STILL NOT SURE?
Most back garden patios in Alton do not need planning permission. Front garden paving over 5 square metres needs permission if it uses a non-permeable surface that drains onto the road. Listed buildings have extra rules. If you are unsure, East Hampshire District Council can tell you what applies.
